President - Rod Johnston

Rod Johnston


B.Tech, MEngSc, MICD, CPEng, MIEAust, NPER, RPEQ

Rod is a qualified civil/structural engineer and builder, with Masters Degrees in both International and Community Development and Structural Engineering. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers and a Chartered Professional Engineer, with over 35 years experience in the design, construction, research and development of buildings in Australia and overseas.


Director - Davina Rooney

Davina  Rooney

B.E. CPEng

Davina Rooney works in the area of sustainability within property. Davina is a chartered engineer with a background in Civil Engineering, she worked in consulting engineering for Arup completing sustainability and building consulting.  Davina has completed work in social sustainability, spending 8 months working in the Indian Himalayas on the construction of a school that won Best Education Building and Best Green Building (tied) in the World Architecture Awards. Davina is on the NAWIC NSW Board, a trainee Assessor with the Green Building Council and the NSW Education Committee for the Association of Consulting Engineers. Davina has been recognised by numerous prizes in industry such as Sydney University Engineering Young Alumni Award 2007, Future Leaders Award ACEA 2006, Sinclair Knight Merz Award for Development 2005 (NAWIC - NSW), Arup Australian Fellowship 2002-4.


Director - William Ryan

Bill has had 36 years engineering experience with 14 years experience running his own practice.  SRIV Engineering specialises in formwork design and inspection, lightweight structures, scaffolding, domestic structural design and building inspections.

Director - Bruce Hutchison

B.E.(Civil), MIEAust

 Structural Engineer involved in the full range of domestic, industrial and multi-storey commercial buildings. Project Management work has included the preparation and analysis of tenders, cost analysis and construction management. 


Director - Robyn Johnston

Robyn Johnston

Robyn is an experienced building construction administrator and purchasing officer, with over 16 years experience in the administration of firms involved in building design and construction, and many years experience in the provision of affordable housing.



Director/Secretary - Arthur Gray

Arthur Gray

ME (NSW)  MAIP  MACS  MIEAust  MIEEE  JP

Arthur spent his entire working career at the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Commission) as a TV technician and Development Engineer. He retired in 2001.

For a number of years, Arthur has been president of the Jenolan Caves Historical & Preservation Society Inc.

 

Director/Treasurer - Susan Faber

  Susan is an experienced administrator with many years experience in education and the building industry, including a number of years in South-East Asia.
